Santa Lucia holiday art

The day of Saint Lucy or Santa Lucia is one of my favorite holidays. To celebrate, I created some digital artwork in a style that's a bit different from my usual watercolor on paper.
My goal with this piece was to capture the temperature change between the cold dark winter nights of December and the warm glow of candlelight. Check out my value study and finished piece. Hope you enjoy!
