Directed the creation and launch of WhatTheMath.com, a digital hub connecting parents with math resources, product updates, and community learning. Integrated a newsletter and Pinterest marketing strategy to grow engagement.

What the Math?! Webinar Series
Produced and promoted a live webinar training program for parents and educators under the What the Math?! brand. Managed content, logistics, and audience communications to expand the reach of Singapore Math’s learning resources. Also created pdf companion resources, and playback videos embedded on a private YouTube channel.

Art, Milk and Cookies Afterschool Art Program​

In partnership with Santa Cruz Parks & Rec, I launched Art, Milk & Cookies — a joyful afterschool art experience that combines creative skill-building with care and connection. I developed the brand, curriculum, and operations to make creativity accessible to Santa Cruz families.

Cali Caricature Staff Artistic & Sales Training Program
Located at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
To strengthen our team culture and guest experience, I developed a robust training and engagement program for Cali Caricature at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The initiative included tailored manuals for trainees and trainers, a comprehensive SOP catalog, and a Sales Training Guide focused on communication and customer care. Guest Artists led ongoing art workshops, while staff enjoyed a full calendar of creative events — from art parties to team dinners — that kept morale high and talent growing.

Guest Artist & Apprenticeship Programs

Created two innovative training pipelines to strengthen staffing and talent development: a Guest Artist program recruiting national professionals and an Apprenticeship program for local emerging artists. Both fostered mentorship, skill growth, and community.

We Didn’t Learn Math This Way! A K-5 Guide for the Confused Adult
Collaborated with math education experts to design and produce We Didn’t Learn Math This Way!, a national guide for parents navigating modern K–5 math. Managed project timelines, design, and communications between authors, designers, and publisher.
Conceptualized and managed the production of Digit Chomps to 10, Singapore Math’s first-ever children’s book. Oversaw story development, illustration, and publishing workflows to bring early numeracy concepts to life through storytelling and design.

Cali Caricature Retail Location Build
Located on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
When Cali Caricature expanded to a permanent retail space near the Giant Dipper, I led concept development, design, and construction in collaboration with the Santa Cruz Seaside Company. Working within Boardwalk parameters and our internal budget, I designed a layout optimized for traffic flow, storage, and guest comfort, and partnered with an in-house creative and local contractor to bring the space to life. The result was a bright, welcoming environment that elevated both brand visibility, employee satisfaction and visitor experience.

Operation Lemonade
Pivot to E-Commerce and Online Shop
During the COVID-19 shutdown, I led Operation Lemonade — a digital pivot that launched an e-commerce platform for caricatures and kept our team connected through creative resilience. Designed the campaign identity and managed digital operations from concept to launch.

I began my career as a visual artist and quickly discovered that building a business was its own creative practice. Brand development, strategic thinking, and project management became new ways to solve problems and tell stories.
